After hundreds applied, we brought in a group of women to our offices to get a first look at our new and improved Tinted Moisturizer Blurred Matte. 15+ years!
Who introduced you to the product?
A family friend who was also a makeup artist, she said it was the best of the best and she was not wrong.
Why did you want to apply to be a part of our campaign?
I genuinely love this product and was excited to celebrate my obsession with others. And on a personal note, my mantra for the year is to say yes to everything and try things I have never done before and this is definitely one of the things I’ve never done before
How did it feel to be chosen for this campaign?
This for me is truly the epitome of you never know where life will take you.
Do you have a favorite memory from being on set?
Sounds cliché but hanging out with the team and the other girls was in itself, such a special moment and memory. I knew we were going to have a good time when the girls, the team and I are unanimously picked classic Disney bops (and of course some Sabrina Carpenter) as the musical backdrop to our shoot day. Also, can’t forget the unison “YESSSS” screams from the room after each killer shot. Dream shoot, dream team for sure!
What do you think about the new formula? How is it better?
It’s amazing. I don’t know what kind of sorcery is in it, but how do you make something that was already pretty perfect even better? Not sure, but the wear and the overall finish is somehow even better than before.
What are some of your other favorite Laura Mercier products?
The translucent powder is legendary, and I truly cannot live without that either. Seriously, could not name a better powder.
