Lash Line: Apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil along the upper lash line. Hold the pencil horizontally, keeping the long side of the tip flat against the lid. This makes it easy to see where the line is being placed. Apply in short strokes to keep the application close to the lashes. 

Tight Line:  Press softly on the eye lid and lift gently back into the eye crease. This will clearly reveal bottom of the lash line. Apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil in between lashes using a dot and wiggle motion. This creates the look of lush, thick lashes. 

Water Line: Apply directly to lower and/or upper waterline. 

Pro-tip/Professional Technique: 

Lashline Pro Tip: To apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil as close to lash line as possible, push down on the lashes with the tip of the pencil, then apply along ridge where lid ends and lashes start. 

Tight line Pro Tip: If needed, diffuse Caviar Eyeliner Pencil by wiggling Flat Eyeliner Brush in between lashes. 

Waterline Pro Tip: For a softer look, line only the upper water line. For maximum definition, line the both upper and lower water lines.

For a more precise application, sharpen Eye Pencil regularly before each use. For best results, do not let the pencil tip wear down to the barrel. 

For best results when sharpening: 

- Use a fresh sharpener with a clean, sharpened blade. 

- Ensure the pencil fits snugly into the sharpener prior to turning the pencil.

- Turn the pencil a full 360 degrees to reveal approximately a quarter inch of product.

    Best Gel Liner

    I have tried a number of gel eyeliners recently. I am 70 years old. My skin is dry but oily enough that most eyeliners are gone by the end of the day. This eyeliner goes on without dragging my eyelid. The color is great on first pass (some liners needed 5 or 7 passes). And this eyeliner stays on all day. I have gray, nearly white, hair, olive-toned skin and brown eyes. The deep purple looks brown/gray on my skin which highlights my eyes without looking too severe. I highly recommend it.

    Perfection

    I’m 75 years old and have used some type of eyeliner since I was 14 and I think this eyeliner pencil is far and above the best. Easy to use and goes on like a dream even on older eyelids.

    Caviar Tightline Eyeliner

    I bought this initially to use on my waterline. It gave me a stye on my right eye. I won't use it on my waterline. It may work just fine for someone else.

    The reason I gave it 5 stars instead of 3 or 4 is that I then tried it as a liner on my upper lid. It went on very smoothly without any tugging as compared to other liners I have used. It's a nice buildable shade that lasts all day and doesn't crease. I would buy it again.
