(This review was collected as part of a promotion). The primer is decent. It has shimmer which adds a nice glow. But the formula is a little bit too dry for my skin. It was fine underneath my foundation though. I did, however, mix it with my moisturizer and that made my skin look so pretty. So I think that's the best use for it. I was sent this but I don't think I would buy it.

A decent primer
(This review was collected as part of a promotion). This is a nice primer. A little goes a long ways. The texture reminds me a lot of sunscreen. It definitely illuminates the foundation for a bright refreshing look. I used it with an inexpensive foundation to see if it would increase the wear time but unfortunately it didnt. Still a nice prime though

Youthful lit from within skin!

Laura Mercier makes some of my favorite products (I love the loose powder and shadow sticks!) so I was excited to be gifted the illuminating primer for free. I don't usually use primer and was a little apprehensive that it was labeled. "illuminating" - I was afraid it might be too glittery or sparkly but that wasn't the case at al! It gave my skin a beautiful lit from within glow that you see naturally with younger skin. I am on the older side so it really helped brighten my dull/mature skin and it was not glittery or sparkly on me at all. That being said I wasn't crazy about it on my forehead - I think I used a bit more there than I should have; next time I would use less on my forehead - a little goes a long way! The primer itself does an excellent job gripping the makeup and keeping it in place all day. It's very long lasting. The ingredient list looks pretty clean too. Would definitely recommend.
